Bow Lake in Banff National Park

from $50.00

While in Canada’s Banff National Park I spent much of my time on the northern banks of Bow Lake. Whether in the high alpine or at water level, this lakes views are some of the worlds best.

After a late night hiking, I was not interested in making a giant push for a high alpine sunrise again. I woke up slow, made a cup of coffee in the van, and walked out the the lakeside to capture a handful of my favorite Canadian images.

The textures in the scree fields, combined with the soft & smoky morning light brought this abstract mountainside vignette to my focus. One of personal favorites from Bow Lake in Banff.
