As one of my final stops on my 2019 Great Southwest roadtrip, Joshua tree was an incredible place for the night sky.
Only a couple hours west of Los Angeles, Joshua Tree National Park is one of the most unique landscapes I have photographed in the American west. Joshua Trees sprawling across the Mojave desert with the San Bernardino Mountains looming in the background make for a beautiful place to be.
And the hippies certainly agree.
